To improve the lives of Union County residents by mobilizing and strengthening the caring power of communities.
A donation of your time or money to the Union County United Way is a great investment in our community! Many of us are fortunate enough to lead comfortable lives and sometimes may take our good fortune for granted. Even in today’s modern world there are residents in our own community that lack financial stability, access to programs that meet basic human needs or resources that improve and support health care and education at all levels. The Union County United Way partners with 21 local human service organizations to support programs that address these needs and more on a local level right here in our community.
Why is the United Way a better choice
than giving a gift to an individual agency?
Leverage & Impact. You could give $ 100 to any one of our partner agencies. They would be grateful for your help and they would put your money to good use. However, when you give that $ 100 through the United Way, it is added to the thousands of other gifts received, and together often times provides enough funding for our partner agencies to carry out a year’s worth of programming. Your gift also creates the opportunity for collaboration between our partner agencies, putting systems in place that help people now and in the future by addressing the underlying causes of issues of concern and importance in our local area.
Your United Way gift is more than a charitable donation; it is all of us, working together to help not only families in need, but to improve the quality of life for our entire community.
