Last Saturday (11/7), the Union County and Greater Susquehanna branches of the United Way teamed up to sponsor an informative health care event at Lewisburg’s Campus Theatre. Following a brief cocktail reception, attendees viewed a powerful documentary on the dangers and inadequacies of the health care system in the United States. After this stirring examination, they were treated to a fascinating panel discussion, which featured health care professionals and Bucknell professors. During the discussion, attendees were also able to ask their own questions. Overall, the event proved to be extremely informative and invaluable to many citizens. Health care is hot debate topic at the moment, and it’s important that each and every individual stay informed.
